Charlton Athletic Community Trust in partnership with CAFC Academy are pleased to once again offer a great opportunity for young players to play a competitive tournament on the CAFC training Academy and CACT community 3G pitches this summer.

All teams must enter via the booking form and MUST be affiliated to a county FA and league.

CACT reserve the right to refuse entry of any teams.

Under 9s - 9.00am till 12noon (Open entry)
Under 10s - 2.00pm till 5.00pm (A/B/C Division sides)
Under 11s - 9.00am till 3.00pm (C/D Division sides)

Format
Under 7s - 5v5 - Maximum of 10 players
Under 8s - 5v5 - Maximum of 10 players
Under 9s - 7v7 Maximum of 12 players
Under 10s - 7v7 Maximum of 12 players
Under 11s - 9v9 Maximum of 16 players
Under 12s - 9v9 Maximum of 16 players

Under 7s, Under 8s, Under 9s, Under 10s
Ten team competition with two groups of five. Top two in each group will progress to the cup and 3rd/4th in each group progress to the shield. Knockout rounds then a final. Matches will be 12 minutes one way

Under 11s, Under 12s
Five team competition playing full 9v9 in one group. Play each other once with the top two playing in the final. Matches will be 25 minutes one way.

Entry will be £35.00 per team

The tournament will run a Cup and Shield competition giving two opportunities for teams to make a final.

All age groups will be competitive and will be officiated by FA qualified referees.

Danson Sports will be running Summer Tournaments for:
Boys/Mixed football - U7’s to U12’s (2023/24 season age groups)
Girl’s football – U12’s & U15’s (2023/24 season age groups)

Groups will be based on ability levels where possible.
